The Power of Perfumes and Cologne
According to researchers, when you first smell something, there is a lot of work done behind the scenes; it’s not just your nose smelling the scent. Once you smell something, your brain immediately links that particular scent to either a moment, an event in your life, or even a person. That emotional connection is different for each person, however, it’s totally accurate how a particular scent can trigger many different memories. The memories can be good, bad, painful, or wonderful; it’s totally subjective. For example, you can smell perfume and think of your middle school days sitting with your friends after school or you can smell cologne and instantly feel like you’re in the arms of your special someone. Aside from perfume’s smelling amazing and making you smell great, they really have another magical sentimental element to them and that is why I’m such a perfume junkie.
Now that we’ve covered a little bit about what makes perfume so special to me, it’s time now that I share with you guys the dupe of the ages. Are you ready for it? Let’s get into it!
