CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
When it comes to skincare, although I have my favorite products, I’m always on the hunt for more. Not only am I on the hunt for more skincare, but I’m always looking for something different, unique, and most important of all: effective!
If you guys couldn’t tell by now from my previous posts, I’m a huge believer in all things drugstore. I believe that great products that perform like magic can be bought at an affordable price and don’t have to put a huge dent in your pocket. Of course, luxury products are always nice, but they’re not fun to re-purchase once you found a die-hard favorite.
I started doing a ton of research online on the many different skincare Neutrogena, Aveeno, Olay, you name it! After a ton of research, it was my boyfriend that gave me the idea to look up the brand CeraVe. Even though I always heard about the brand, I never really looked into their products for literally no particular reason at all. And so, after reading up on the brand, I finally found what I was looking for and what was missing in my life.
CeraVe Foaming Cleanser: What is it?
I quickly went to my local Walmart and picked up the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser and let me tell you, my skincare routine will never be the same! I picked up the version intended for Normal to Oily skin because I’m someone that has super oily skin.
So now, let’s get into the details. The CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser claims to have a unique formula containing three essential ceramides that cleanse, remove oil, and protect the barrier of your skin. Sounds amazing, right? This product 100% delivers on these claims, and in my opinion, exceeds them completely!
CeraVe Foaming Cleanser: My Experience
When it comes to face wash, I’m looking for a product that is super gentle, effective, and can be used daily. The CeraVe cleanser checks off all of the boxes on my bucket list. This cleanser lathers very well, and every time I use it, my skin literally glows right after. The cleanser also doesn’t have a scent so I feel it’s very gentle on the skin as well. Also, since I bought the oily skin version, I feel like this product has actually been working to control my oiliness throughout the day.
After using the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for over 2 weeks, I can honestly see a difference in my skin. My skin not only feels cleaner but it also visibly looks cleaner, appears more plump, my oiliness is controlled throughout the day, and just overall feels AMAZING! Before this product, I didn’t think a face wash can deliver all of these things AND be from the drugstore; my mind is blown! If you’re looking for a face wash that doesn’t target oiliness, this brand also has different varieties of face wash that can work for several different skin types.

In my opinion, this product is great for acne. At its core, acne is essentially caused by a few culprits: oils and clogged pores. When using the cleanser, it is both gentle and effective enough to cleanse your skin, clear out your pores, and help prevent acne and even help to prevent it!
Is the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser good?
Let’s get straight to the point: yes, yes, yes! I absolutely adore this cleanser from its core. To keep it simple, this cleanser is gentle, cleans your pores, leaves your skin glowing, moisturizes your skin, lathers great, and helps to control your oils. So to sum it up, yes, this cleanser is very very good!
How often should you use the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser?
Since this cleanser is very gentle, in my opinion, this cleanser can be used twice daily. Once in the morning before your skincare regimen, and once in the evening when taking your makeup off or just getting your skin clean before bed!
Does the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser dry out skin?
This particular cleanser doesn’t dry my skin out at all. This product cleanses the skin, unclogs your pores, and your skin literally looks super radiant and squeaky clean the second you are done, without any dryness or flakiness! Additionally, this product has Hyaluronic acid which, when added to skincare, actually attracts moisture.
What does the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser do?
Aside from being one of the best cleansers I’ve tried in a very long time, this product does many amazing things for your skin. This product cleans out your pores, removes oils and dirt without disturbing your natural skin barrier, lathers great, helps to calm your skin, feels refreshing, cleanses, and even attracts extra moisture.
